You don’t even know how much I wanted to title this post, “O.P.P.”. But in the end, I chickened out… So here’s a question for you guys. How do you feel about hanging up portraits of strangers on your walls? Creepy or chic? I do love the richness and character it adds to a room, but I can’t help imagine I’d feel a little uneasy waking up to some unknown person staring at me. For example, this crying little boy:
Currently, my portrait status is a photograph of Marilyn Monroe and a faceless nude sketch I picked up at a flea market in Paris. Am I ready to add the faces of the less familiar to my walls?
Other people’s portraits.. yes or no?
